Essential Oils Benefits List

This list is a broad guideline to what benefits the essential oils we use can offer. Please do more research on your own for more specific benefits as well as precautions. When crafting our soap, we ensure not to exceed the recommended maximum amount of essential oil per batch. Please note, our soap is not made as a treatment for anything. We are simply listing the natural benefits of the therapeutic grade essential oils we use in our handcrafted soaps.  

Allspice Leaf- Used to stimulate circulation, ease muscle cramps, aid digestion

Cedarwood- Used to reduce appearance of scars, relieve acne, alleviate arthritis pain, sooth symptoms of eczema

Cinnamon Leaf- Used to calm dry skin, alleviate aches and pains, address acne, rashes, and infections, enhance circulation, revive skin tone, slow the look of aging

Citronella- Used as an insect repellent, to treat parasitic infections, to promote wound healing, to lift mood or fight fatigue, as an anti-fungal agent

Clove Bud- Used to help kill bacteria, as a muscle pain reliever, to sooth digestive upset, to relieve respiratory conditions like cough and asthma

Eucalyptus- Used to silence a cough, to clear your chest, as a bug repellent, to disinfect wounds, to breath easy, to ease joint pain 

Fir Needle- Used to reduce pain, to prevent infection, to improve respiratory function, to increase metabolism, to detoxify the body, to reduce body odor

Geranium- Used as an anti-inflammatory, as a tick repellent for pets, as an astringent, to speed up healing, to reduce scar marks, as a hemostatic agent, as a diuretic, to help relieve skin conditions

Ginger Root- Used to alleviate nausea and digestive upset, to relieve arthritis, to help with colds and migraines

Lavender- Used to soothe eczema and sry skin, to aid in skin lightening, as an antioxidant, as an anti-inflammatory, to aid in wound healing, as an insect repellent

Lemon- Used to fight exhaustion, to help with depression, to clear your skin, to kill harmful viruses and bacteria, to reduce inflammation

Lime- Used as an anti-septic, as an anti-depressant, to reduce muscle and joint pain, to help prevent signs of aging

Litsea Cubeba- Used to fight infections, stimulate your mind, as an anti-inflammatory, to treat fatigue, to aid digestion, to help with muscle pain, to help ease skin conditions

Nutmeg- Used to relieve menstrual cramps, to help relieve indigestion, to help improve blood circulation, to help relieve respiratory problems, to help improve cognition 

Orange- Used to lift your mood and reduce stress, to reduce pain or inflammation,  to help relieve skin conditions, to relieve upset stomach

Patchouli- Used to help relieve skin conditions, to ease cold symptoms, to aid in digestion, to help ease stress, anxiety, and depression

Peppermint- Used to relieve digestive issues, to ease cold symptoms, to help relieve itching and muscle pain

Rosemary- Used to help improve brain function, as a mild pain reliever, to ease stress, to increase circulation, to reduce joint inflammation

Sage- Used to reduce stress, as an anti-bacterial, as an anti-depressant, to reduce symptoms of menopause, to help reduce menstrual cramps

Sandalwood- Used to help aid digestion, to relieve muscle pain, to ease cold symptoms, as an anti-inflammatory, as an anti-bacterial, to help manage anxiety

Tea Tree- Used as a hand sanitizer, as an insect repellent, as a natural deodorant, as an anti-septic, to fight acne, as an anti-fungal, to sooth skin inflammation and skin conditions
